The FMSB AOI Travel Fellowship Program is an initiative aimed at promoting academic growth, skill enhancement and inter-institutional learning among ENT specialists across Maharashtra. Through this program, members are encouraged to visit recognized centers of excellence to gain exposure to advanced techniques and sub-specialties in Otolaryngology.
This page provides detailed guidelines for the FMSB Travel Fellowship Program along with a list of approved institutes offering fellowship opportunities. The FMSB encourages young and practicing ENT surgeons to take advantage of this program to broaden their clinical experience and strengthen professional collaboration within the fraternity.
1. There will be 4 travel fellowships a. Otology b. Rhinology c. Laryngology d. Head – Neck Surgery.
2. Candidates within 10 Yrs. Of practice from the date of passing Degree/Diploma can apply.
3. Applicant must be a member of any branch of FMSB of AOI and must be practicing in Maharashtra.
4. One candidate will be selected for Each category.
5. Duration – 01 Month (Should be completed within 6 months from the dates of MENTCON, in one go)
6. Rs. 40,000/- (Forty Thousand only) and Certificate from FMSB will be given to each selected candidate on successful completion of the fellowship.
7. Candidate has to submit a completion certificate from the head of the respective institute to FMSB Office.
8. Amount will be transferred online within one month of submission (Via Email) of completion certificate to FMSB Secretary and fellowship certificate will be sent Via Courier.

from the interested candidates prior to the MENTCON of the respective year.
(Candidate can apply for any one category only).
10. Application should include – Name, Age, Sex, Address, Mobile No., Email ID, Year of passing Degree/Diploma, Category of fellowship interested in, Present designation, Present work experience of the candidate in the applied category, letter of recommendation from President/Secretary of FMSB AOI branch, Research contribution/Publications, contribution in AOI Local branch activities/ MENTCON / AOICON/ ISOCON, participation in social activities, any other relevant information.
11. Each applicant will have to make a 5 minutes PPT presentation of above points mentioned in the application during MENTCON on day 2 at 7.30 am in front of panel of experts.
12. Expert committee will select the candidates on merit and committee decision will be final.
Selected candidate names will be announced in GBM (same day evening) and selection letter will be handed over.
